Definition und Verwendung
Das <area>Tag definiert einen Bereich innerhalb einer Imagemap (eine Imagemap ist ein Bild mit anklickbaren Bereichen).
<area>Elemente sind immer innerhalb eines
<map>Tags verschachtelt.
Hinweis: Das usemapAttribut in <img>ist mit dem Attribut des <map>Elements verknüpft
nameund stellt eine Beziehung zwischen dem Bild und der Karte her.
