Definition und Verwendung

Die Eigenschaft fontFamily legt eine Liste mit Schriftfamiliennamen und/oder generischen Familiennamen für Text in einem Element fest oder gibt sie zurück.

Der Browser verwendet den ersten Wert, den er erkennt.

Es gibt zwei Arten von Schriftfamilienwerten:

Schriftfamilie: Der Name einer Schriftfamilie, wie „verdana“ oder „arial“
generische Familie: Der Name einer generischen Schriftfamilie, wie „serif“ oder „sans-serif“

Tipp: Als letzte Alternative immer einen generischen Familiennamen angeben!

Hinweis: Trennen Sie jeden Wert durch ein Komma.

Hinweis: Wenn der Name einer Schriftfamilie Leerzeichen enthält, muss er in Anführungszeichen gesetzt werden.

Tipp: Suchen Sie unter Websichere Schriftarten nach häufig verwendeten Schriftartkombinationen.
